Pomegranate Dip

Hey Ladies!

Thank you so much to everyone who helped with our R.S. meeting last night and for all of you that attended. I think it was a nice evening, I really enjoy spending time with you all and getting to know you better!

There have been some requests for the pomegranate dip recipe so here it is:

1 pomegranate
1 avocado
1/2 cucumber
3 green omions
1/3 c cilantro
2 tbs lime juice
1/4 tsp salt

Monica- we need to get your dip recipe too :)

December 10th Playgroup

We'll be meeting at the park with Shy pond in it. It is off of That Way, just north of Oyster Creek Dr. on a map. It's across the street from a large apartment complex or two.

Rainy weather? Plan B TBA

December 3rd Playgroup

We'll be meeting at Kim Cardon's house at 10:30am to make ornaments! Feel free to bring any glittery, ribbon-y, fuzzy, decorative thingys to glue onto your felt ornaments.

Walking Group

A few things about walking group as changed.

Walking group now meets Monday, Wednesday, Friday.  With the weather being uncooperative we have decided to meet at the Mall play area tomorrow{Dec 2} at 9:00 am.  I'm uncertain if the mall is open this early for walkers, so cross your fingers that it is!  We'll decide tomorrow where we will be meeting on Friday.  I hope to see you there!

Ornament Exchange!

November 26th Playgroup

There will be no Playgroup on Thanksgiving.

The next week, December 3rd, I would like to meet at a sister's home for a craft. Would anyone like to volunteer their house? You just need to provide the house and I'll worry about the craft supplies.

November 19th Playgroup

We'll be meeting at MacLean at 10:30.

November 12th Playgroup

We're going to be playing at a park in Freeport this Thursday, 10:30. Melissa Curl told me how to get there- Thanks for the great new place to play!

Drive Hwy 288 south to Freeport. (For any of you who have never done that, follow the highway signs south out of Lake Jackson and you'll reach a point where you enter Freeport and wonder if you are still on Hwy 288. You are - it's also known as Nolan Ryan Expy or N Brazosport Blvd.
Take a left onto Quintana St. also known as the "boat entrance" (there's a great big boat up on the land); pass the library on your left, take your first right onto City Park Rd (very catchy), and you ought to see the park right there!
The trip should take about 20 min from my house.

I plan on stopping in the library while I'm there, too.

November 5th Playgroup

With a forecast of 74 degrees and sunny skies,
we're headed outside to the park!
We'll meet at MacLean at 10:30 Thursday.

(Next time we go to a park I think we'll try the park on Yaupon near the church building)

October 29th Playgroup

Due to a rainy forecast, playgroup will be heading to the "Sea Shell Museum" (also known as the Brazosport Museum of Natural Science) at the Brazosport Community College. We will meet there at 10:30. The address is 400 College Dr., Clute, TX.

What do you think about taking turns bringing a snack for all the little ones to share? Maybe a box of crackers or some raisins or whathaveyou. Leave your comments and tell me what you think!

October 22nd Playgroup

We will be meeting at my apartment for crafts! We'll have crafts for big and little hands. (Usual time: 10:30am)

Directions:
I live in apt #1801 of the Oaks of Flagridge apartments behind Randall's, off 288/332. It's right on the corner of Loganberry and Plantation Dr. West.

With the cooler weather coming, we'll be going to the parks more often, but I'd also love to do holiday themed crafts/treats at different sisters' houses. If you would be willing to host us at your house, please let me know!
