January 13th Playgroup

We've got a forecast of 45 degrees of coldness and I'm thinkin somewhere nice and indoors would be best. How's about the seashell museum at 10:30?

January 6th Playgroup?

We aren't coming today, but if you'd like to congregate....

Sisters, here is the recipe Pat made for the Christmas dinner. She made her own meatballs, but frozen will work also. It really is an easy soup. Hope you enjoy!

Easy Italian Wedding Soup

2(14 1/2 oz) cans chicken broth

1 cup water

1 cup small shell pasta, uncooked

18 frozen meatballs, cooked

2 cups spinach leaves, finely shredded

1 cups Prego (or spaghetti sauce of your choice)

Parmesan Cheese, grated

Bring broth and water to boil in a large saucepan; add pasta and meatballs. Return to a boil; cook 7 to 9 minutes or until pasta is done. Do not drain. Reduce heat, stir in spinach and Prego sauce. Cook one to two minutes or until thoroughly heated. Garnish with grated Parmesan. Makes 6 servings.

December Relief Society Meeting

Also, Sister Davis will be accepting Giving Tree gifts at the meeting for those who still need to get them to her. See ya there!

December 9th Playgroup

Since it looks kinda chilly out, lets go to the Sea Shell Museum at Brazosport Community College. See you at 10:30!

And don't forget that the Gathering Place is from 10-2 on Friday for any interested helping hands!

December 2nd Playgroup

Because of the Cookie Exchange we will be moving the time back that playgroup is meeting. We are going to play at the Junior Service League park on Yaupon near the church at 12:30. That way you can do both the cookie exchange and playgroup. (You may want to bring a picnic lunch.)
